Turkey  Korkmaz earns MVP honours as Anadolu Efes B claim U16 Boys title in Konya
Anadolu Efes B captured the 2025-26 U16 Boys Turkish Championship in Konya, navigating a 16-team field across seven days of competition (May 18-24) at the Karatay Sports and Congress Center to lift the trophy.
Nail Ekin Korkmaz was named Most Valuable Player after leading the Istanbul side through a championship run that featured 40 matches. Teammate Arda Ozturk (203-C-2010) was selected to the All-Tournament Five, recognizing the depth of talent on Efes' title-winning roster.
Fenerbahce finished as runners-up, while host city representatives Konya Buyuksehir Belediyesi Spor took third a strong showing in front of their home crowd. Konya's Goktug Emengen earned the Top Assists award, while teammate Batu Uygun was named to the All-Tournament Five.
TOFAS' Doruk Sezer was the tournament's standout statistical performer with the Top Scorer award and a place on the All-Tournament Five, while Omer Bayraktar also of TOFAS led the competition in steals.
Darussafaka's Aka Berke Erguven completed an impressive double as both an All-Tournament Five selection and the Top Blocker. Oguz Cetinkaya of Fenerbahce was named Top Rebounder, and Bahcesehir Okullari A's Kuzey Baysal) rounded out the All-Tournament Five.
The closing ceremony at the Karatay venue featured medal and trophy presentations to the top three teams, with all participants receiving certificates of achievement.
