In 1979 SP Lugano merged with Viganello creating new team SP Viganello LuganoClosed: 1981 Team names: Viganello (1957-1979), SP Viganello (1979-) *In 1981, the club folded after the 1980-1981 season due to financial difficulties and as a result, merged with Federal Lugano into the FV Lugano *In 1983 Viganello split back from FV Lugano creating a separate team
