Founded: 2002
In 2002 the franchise moved from Charlotte to New OrleansIn 2005 the franchise (due to Katerina tornado damage) moved it's location to Oklahoma City and changed it's name to New Orleans / Oklahoma City Hornets In 2007 moved back to New Orleans, changing back the name to New Orleans Hornets In 2013 the name was changed from Charlotte Hornets to Charlotte Pelicans
