It was actually of a continuation of historically well-known Dinamo Leningrad which was one of the first clubs in USSR, which played in National League before WW2
Team names: Dynamo Leningrad (1937-1940), Dynamo Sankt Petersburg (2004-2006)

1937-4, 38-7(1), 39-(2), 40-8(1), 47-(2), 48-13(1), 49-(2), 50-12(1), 51-(2), 05-5, 06-2
2006: In October went bankrupt and withdrew from the league

European cups:
2004-2005: FIBA Europe League: took 1st place (14-0) in Group D, beat BC Kiev 85-74 in the Final (!!!)
2005-2006: FIBA EuroCup: took 1st place (6-0) in Group A, then took 2nd place (3-3) in Group I, lost to Khimki 61-63 in the semifinals (!!!)
