History:

Founded: 8 July 2019
KK Cedevita Olimpija is an outcome of a merger of two clubs from neighboring countries, the Slovenian club Petrol Olimpija from Ljubljana and the Croatian team Cedevita from Zagreb, which is the first such instance of two clubs from different countries merging. The club is a part of the Adriatic Basketball Association, and competes in the ABA League and the EuroCup.

2020-2021: 7DAYS EuroCup: took 2nd place (7-3) in Group D of Stage One, took 3rd place (3-3) in Group G of Second Stage; ABA League: took 5th place (18-8) in Regular Season
2021-2022: 7DAYS EuroCup: took 3rd place (11-7) in Group B, lost to Bursaspor 83-85 in the Quarterfinals; Adriatic League: took 4th place (18-8) in Regular Season, lost to Crvena Zvezda Beograd 1-2 in the Semifinals (!!!)
2022-2023: 7DAYS EuroCup: took 10th (last) place (3-15) in Group A; Adriatic League: took 4th place (17-8) in Regular Season, lost to Partizan Beograd 1-3 in the Semifinals (!!!)
2023-2024: BKT EuroCup: took 10th place (1-17) in Group A; Adriatic League: took 5th place (16-10) in Regular Season, lost to Mega Beograd 0-2 in the Quarterfinals
