Unbeaten Streaks Intact as Thrilling Basketball League Kerala Enters Penultimate StagesThe Basketball League Kerala (BLK) has intensified into a high-stakes race, entering its explosive fourth day of non-stop action with three crucial days remaining to seal the league standings.
Tournament giants Calicut Warriors continued their absolute dominance in the region, holding onto spectacular undefeated records across three major categories: the Under-14 Boys, Under-14 Girls, and Under-19 Girls. The competition is equally fierce in the Under-19 Boys bracket, where Kottayam Bisons and Thrissur Taskers remain locked in a thrilling deadlock as the only two unbeaten sides left standing.
Fans at the stadium witnessed a packed schedule of back-to-back games starting from the early morning whistle through a heavy afternoon slate. Heavyweights Trivandrum Capitals, Kottayam Bisons, and Calicut Warriors all collided in high-intensity matchups that shook up the tournament leaderboards.
The Under-14 Girls division saw a stunning tactical turnaround when the Trivandrum Capitals shook off an early deficit against the Kottayam Bisons, exploding in the second half with a massive 43-17 run to secure a decisive 14-point victory. Calicut Warriors' U14 Boys showed exactly why they are unbeaten by putting on a defensive clinic against Trivandrum, holding them to single digits in three separate quarters for a massive blowout win.
In the U19 categories, the Thrissur Tuskers Girls used a devastating 40-16 first-half surge to shut down Trivandrum Capitals despite a late-game rally. The Trivandrum Boys, however, redeemed their club by dealing a heavy blow to Calicut Warriors in a 69-42 showcase, driven by a sharp three-pronged scoring attack.
With 72 hours of league play still remaining, every single quarter counts as teams scramble to book their playoff
