Bulgaria  Tsokov's 24-point, 8-steal showcase leads BUBA to U16 Cup title defense in Varna
BUBA Basketball successfully defended their Bulgarian Basketball Federation U16 boys Cup, demolishing Cherno More Ticha 114-91 in the final at the Hristo Borisov Hall to claim the trophy for a fourth time in the age group.
Coach Ivaylo Zhelev's side dominated from nearly the opening tip and never once relinquished the lead against Kiril Bolshakov's team. After a back-and-forth start, the Sofia side found its offensive rhythm and quickly built a double-digit cushion that ballooned to 18 points by the end of the first quarter. Cherno More had no answer in the second period, and BUBA stretched the lead to 56-29 at halftime.
The capital club continued to control its destiny in the second half, leading by 24 after 30 minutes. The Varna side showed a strong offensive face in the final period but never threatened the symbolic visitors, who finished the job they started.
