Founded: 1939
The team was founded in 1994, after the old CB Canarias club, that huge financial problems at that time, merged with other teams of the Spanish island of Tenerife, to create the new Tenerife Canarias club

2022-2023: Basketball Champions League: took 1st place (4-2) in Group H of Stage One, took 1st place (5-1) in Group L of Second Stage, lost to Hapoel Jerusalem 68-69 in the Semifinals, beat Unicaja Malaga 84-79 in the 3rd Place Game (!!!)
2023-2024: Basketball Champions League: took 1st place (4-2) in Group C of Stage One, took 1st place (4-2) in Group K of Second Stage, beat Peristeri Athens 97-93 in the Semifinals, lost to Unicaja Malaga 75-80 in the Final (!!!)
