The Second Stage in U18 League just ended. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

U18 League round 15 caused change at the leadership position. Ninth defeat of league's leader Monaco (11-9) against second ranked Fos-Provence (12-8) 96-81 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Monaco. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Fos-Provence have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Quimper and Poitiers U18. Monaco at the other side dropped to the second place with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Dijon U18.
Another exciting game for Evreux U18 (5-15) which played on the court of 5th ranked Chartres (4-16). Sixth ranked Evreux U18 upset home team edging them after exciting game by one point 80-79. Evreux U18 moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Marseille and Jura. Chartres lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Adour Dax and Massy.
A very close game took place in Sainte-Foy-les-Lyon between Oullins and Vichy-Clemont. Second ranked Oullins (10-8) got a very close home victory over 4th placed Vichy-Clemont (7-13). Oullins managed to escape with a 3-point win 69-66 in the game for the second place. Oullins have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-8 record having six points less than leader Dijon U18. Loser Vichy-Clemont dropped to the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 15: Marseille was beaten by Hyeres-T. U18 on the road 83-73. Aix-Maurienne U18 lost to Montpellier U18 on its own court 84-89. TOAC managed to outperform La Roche in a road game 89-79. Poitiers U18 rolled over Adour Dax at home 109-86. Challans was crushed by Boulazac U18 on the opponent's court 79-44. Quimper smashed Angers U18 in a home game 95-63. Tours lost to Orleans U18 on the road 75-91. Lille managed to outperform Rouen U18 on its own court 57-42. Denain recorded a loss to Cergy-Pontoise in a road game 68-64. Lievin was crushed by Le Portel U18 at home 63-84. Versailles beat Nancy U18 on the opponent's court 64-56. Massy was destroyed by Punch in a home game 60-82. Reims U18 unfortunately lost to Nanterre U18 on the road 64-68. Jura recorded a loss to ASA on its own court 59-65. Winless Mulhouse was crushed by ASVEL U18 in Villeurbanne 102-76.

Hyeres-T. U18 - Marseille 83-73

Everything could happen in Toulon at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Hyeres-T. U18 and 5th ranked Marseille had identical 5-14 record. This time Hyeres-T. U18 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Marseille 83-73 on Thursday night. Hyeres-T. U18 (6-14) moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams.
